Spanish singer Rosalía revealed a surprising influence on her creative process during an interview with Mario Pergolini on the show «Otro Día Perdido» (eltrece). The artist confessed that «collections of traditional lyrics» and «poetry» greatly help her in writing. «I had a table full of books that I was consulting, and in fact, I had one among them that was about tango lyrics... I just remember being there, working on a song by Carlos Gardel...», she admitted. In doing so, Rosalía confirmed the influence of the Argentine icon, who tragically died in a plane crash in 1935, on her music. According to information from «Agencia Noticias Argentinas», Rosalía was detailing the creative process behind her new work, which took her three years of dedication. The singer explained that she uses the piano and her voice as the main instruments for composition, but she also consults specialized literature.
